If one considers the mild climate of the island, its fertile soil with the great variety of herbs and flowers, the 5 million olive trees, its crystal clear waters, one will understand why this blessed place, where – according to the poet – “on its rocks,flourish the flowers”, has local products of excellent quality, such as virgin olive oil, vegetables, famous butter, cheese, wines, fresh fish etc.

The Corfiot kitchen followed the historic course of the island, so was influenced by the Venetian, French, Russian and British kitchen, a fact which makes it especially savory with many tasty surprises!

For us in Fundana, cooking is Art! The Meal is a Holiday and Entertainment, especially when it is accompanied by Good Apetite!
Base of our kitchen, is our virgin olive oil, product of the 500 olivetrees of our estate, as well as fresh products by local producers, which we purchase every morning from the corfiot market, so our kitchen is tasty and healthy.

Your Kalimera Goodday starts with a rich buffet breakfast, where you will taste the corfiot speciality marmelade Koum-Quat, the local cheese graviera,a.o.
Corfiot cookingThe hot summer nights, in our cosy taverna, in fresh air and beautiful views, you will enjoy our local dishes, such as the majestic “rooster pastitsada”, the spicy “sofrito”, the “bourdeto” a.o. Your dinner will be accompanied by our aromatic wines, from grapes of our pergolas, or the dry white wine “Kakotrygis”, from Chalikounas of southern Corfu.
